I used to think my english was well. But now I am unsure, being in USA. They speak so fast english!! and I even have never heard some words that are used. Like "nigga"?
I first here this here in Kentucky. People, especially black teenagers call each other nigga. One day I had got a drink from the vending machine, and it was very bitter so I said "苦い” which in romaji is "nigai" meaning "bitter", and teacher got upset at me because they thought I had said "nigga", which she said is a deragatory term. but I hear students say to each other all the time in a friendly or joking way. Interesting! I love to learn English, even though I am still poor at it. Anytime, please correct my english! I will be practicing much here, so no japanese! hehe ^^~ arigatou gozaimashita!

はじめまして、ブリです。どうぞよろしく。 *^_^*十六歳です。
Hi everyone! My name is Brighid Tan, I'm 16 years old and living in Kentucky.
I was born in nippon, and just recently I moved here to America with my mother and
father. It is lonely for me ^^ not many japanese people!
My father is natural born Americans, mother is japanese. For the past 16 years he's had been living in Japan as English teacher to children (I've been there my whole life!), but his contract was up, and he decided not to try to renew it, but instead have us come
to america. He said it would be good experience for me and mom. Since it has only
been her and my father who have taught me English. I miss Japan.-_- Before my parents had came to japan, they had used to go to SCA conventions. now that are in america,
they want to take me to one. Are they fun?
